Chef Chris Shepherd's Underbelly tells the story of Houston food by showcasing the city's cultural diversity in his inspired menu. The restaurant pays homage to Shepherd's local inspirations with photographs on the wall, encouraging customers to visit at least one location on the list before returning to Underbelly.

Going into Underbelly's third year in business, Shepherd has invites people displayed on Underbelly's walls to cook with him, to showcase their products and to collaborate on a family-style dinner together.
