The evening of fine fare and libations benefits the beloved Volunteer Houston holiday project, A Visit from Saint Nicholas, which hopes to gift 10,000 underserved Houston-area students with a backpack filled with holiday gifts on St. Nicholas Day on Dec. 5. Due to the success of last year's sold-out, inaugural "Tasteful: Off the Vine" event, Volunteer Houston has expanded the culinary choices and capacity to accommodate its supporters.
Chef David Luna of Line & Lariat at Hotel Icon has created a tasting menu that celebrates the St. Nick tradition in countries across the globe. A tempting silent auction will assist guests with their holiday shopping.
