Keeping with Voices Breaking Boundaries' (VBB) tradition, this fundraising event will honor artists who have taken risks to speak out and act as advocates. This year, the Valiente Award goes to Babsi Sidhwa, an award winning Pakistani novelist striving to bring women's issues into public discussion. Guests will enjoy a reading by the author, an installation by Sehba Sarwar, a screening debut of a documentary on VBB by Faroukh Virani, live music and food.
