Visionary Heights presents "Prelude to Saga" featuring works by Cliff Franks. Franks' current body of work conceptualizes philosophy with mythology and the occult. He seeks to illustrate a combination of philosophic ideas with mystical elements and nature. This often calls for a mending of classical beauty with an air of unease. The purpose is to shed comfort and incite others to search themselves and the world around them for challenging questions. He hopes to drive a will to escape the bubble of societal conformity with revelations of the animistic and primitive essence of humanity, while also, examine the rituals, religious inclinations and motives behind such things.
Following the opening reception, the exhibit will be on display until November 3.
