61 Years of Bossa Nova: The Music of Tom Jobim will be a night of music while empowering women and diversity in Houston. In addition to her original music, Paula Maya with guest Beth Galiger will perform a tribute to Bossa Nova, the beat and sound that so deeply influenced American culture and music, especially jazz and pop, pioneered by Brazilian composer and musician Antonio Carlos "Tom" Jobim.
