Themed "Under the Colors of Mexico", Virtuosi of Houston's annual gala celebrates the bicentennial of Mexican independence. The evening includes a concert by Mexican artists Gabriel González and Horacio Franco and dinner by Mexican chef Mónica Patiño. Classical and popular music from Mexican composers will be featured, including the world premiere of Mariachi Medley — a new work by Robert Nelson for the Virtuosi of Houston.
Proceeds from the night will benefit Virtuosi of Houston — the young artists chamber orchestra.
