Villa de Luxe, a historic Houston estate, will be transformed into a stunning design show house from Feb. 1 through 17. The house, designed by William Ward Watkin, was built for hardware magnate F.A. Heitmann in 1924. The house stands on two acres in historic Shadyside, a private place neighborhood adjacent to Rice University.
