Video Salon with Indie Filmmaker Greg Carter

"Persistence of Vision: A Frank Discussion on Indie Filmmaking," is a video salon covering the in's and out's of being an independent filmmaker. Greg Carter plans to discuss topics such as raising money, distribution and guerilla marketing and publicity. 

His eleventh feature film, A Gangland Love Story is a contemporary version of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. It will be shown at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston on Jan. 16 at 5 p.m.A graduate of Texas A&M and Rice with a masters in fine arts in filmmaking, Carter has received recognition in the film community, including being inducted into the Texas Filmmakers' Hall of Fame, receiving the Best Director and Best Film a the 30th Parallel Film Festival (Fifth Ward) Award.
