The UST Music Department presents Reynaldo Ochoa Tribute Concert

Dr. Reynaldo Ochio is a prolific composer, conductor, and performer whose works have received both American and European premieres. Notable commissions include a trumpet concerto for David Bilger, principal trumpet with the Philadelphia Orchestra, and a Brass Quintet for the Paragon Brass Ensemble. The Houston Symphony commissioned two compositions for their Sounds Like Fun concerts. “The Rainmaker’s Helper” received 16 performances and was broadcast on KUHF.

Dr. Ochoa currently teaches trumpet at The University of St. Thomas.
