Urban Harvest
The first part of the class will cover the vegetables and fruits that are best for freezing and canning. Then the class will review the equipment needed for canning and freezing, and various techniques and procedures that are used for safely preserving foods. The second part of the class will cover jelly and jam making, including high sugar, low sugar and no sugar varieties.
