The annual Upside Down / Inside Out at Rienzi highlights select pieces of furniture and other objects that will be opened up or turned over, giving guests a rare chance to see the inner workings of some treasured pieces. This year, guests will be privy to the home’s kitchen and butler’s pantry. The Masterson’s collection of cookbooks and original 1950’s appliances will be on display for a behind-the-scenes look at MFAH’s center for European decorative arts.
