MD Anderson’s fifth annual Boot Walk to End Cancer®, presented by LyondellBasell will go virtual in an effort to keep participants and their communities safe from COVID-19. People across the country will walk 1.2 miles in their own neighborhoods.

On event day, participants will join the online community for a celebration before setting out on their own route wearing their favorite pair of boots. Downloadable spirit gear will be available to all registered event participants to help them celebrate from home.

The Boot Walk to End Cancer is an annual fundraiser that provides support for patient programs, research and prevention, and education at MD Anderson. One hundred percent of funds raised by participants directly advance MD Anderson's mission to end cancer.

Participants can earn Boot Walk swag, including the 2020 event T-shirt, when they raise at least $100. When registering, they will receive free online and mobile fundraising tools, as well as staff support to help them raise funds and awareness among their friends, families, and communities.
