The University of St. Thomas presents The Dancewicz-Doucet Duo Album Release Concert

Houston-based violin and piano ensemble The Dancewicz-Doucet Duo (Dominika Dancewicz - violin and Donald Doucet - piano) presents "The Story," a concert celebrating the release of The Duo's debut CD. The performance focuses on pivotal music that brought the artists together four years ago. The centerpiece of the evening will be the Violin Sonata by Edward Elgar, which is also the main feature of The Duo's album. However, the musicians will tell their own story through various pieces of music of different genres, styles and eras. The program includes music by Beethoven, Brahms, Mozart, Clara Schumann, Grazyna Bacewicz, Josef Suk, as well as some exciting surprises.

The CD, featuring Violin Sonatas by Elgar, Mozart and Debussy, will be available for purchase.
