Jane Eyre, Wuthering Heights, Agnes Grey -  the novels that mid-19th-century London was mad about. But who were the writers? The book jackets said Acton Bell, Ellis Bell, or Currer Bell, but these brilliant writers never showed themselves in London society. Perhaps because they were all pseudonyms of the Brontë sisters: Anne, Emily and Charlotte. While “incognito” could have been the title for their life stories, playwright Joy Gregory brings the brief but vivid time of this famous family to life with glittering theatricality. Their stories have moved generations - come see what moved them.
