The Texas Music Festival: Festival Orchestra 1 - 30th Anniversary Season Opener will feature Franz Anton Krager as the conductor, Kenny Broberg on piano, and Xiao Wang as the guest concertmaster.
The following symphonies will be performed: Copland: Fanfare for the Common Man; Tower: Fanfare for the Uncommon Woman; Rachmaninoff: Rhapsody on a theme of Paganini; Rimsky-Korsakov: Scheherazade.
The concert on June 7 will be at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, and the concert on June 8 will be at Moores Opera House.
