The University of Houston's Honors College will engage community members with the ultimate communication tool — face-to-face dialogue (imagine that). For more than two decades, the college has delivered insightful discussions and gourmet dinners to Houstonians during "The Great Conversation." At the heart of this annual fundraiser are meaningful supper chats led by esteemed experts and noted scholars. Envisioned by Honors College alumna Jane Cizik as a vehicle to connect the campus and community, "The Great Conversation”"continues to grow.

This year, nearly 40 conversationalists will host table talks on a variety of topics including sports, fine wines and spirits, politics, economics, art, higher education and more. Cocktails are served at 7 p.m., and dinner and conversations commence at 7:30 p.m.
