Off to France! The University of Houston Moores School of Music Concert Chorale presents a send-off concert prior to the ensemble's trip to Tour, France, where students will compete in the Floriège Vocal de Tours choir competition from May 27 - 29. The choir of 36 will perform a wide range of repertoire, beginning with the music of Claudio Monteverdi and Heinrich Schütz, Americana works by Barber and Jim Hart, and includes a world premiere by Moores School of Music director, David Ashley White. 

Bid them adieu, goodbye and farewell, while listening to students at the top of their game perform familiar repertoire and contemporary works.
