United Way of Greater Houston invites early-career professionals, ages 30 and under, to attend a United Way LINC speaker event with Stephen Klineberg, co-director of the Kinder Institute of Urban Research at Rice University. Klineberg will discuss his research on how local residents respond to social change, as well as share his insights about Houston's evolving demographic patterns and life experiences and how these fundamental changes are focusing attention on quality-of-life issues.
The event will be followed by a volunteer project.
