Bring the family for a stellar line-up of Texas and Gulf Coast musicians. Blankets, lawn chairs and picnics are welcome; beer and wine available for purchase. No glass containers or outside alcoholic beverages.

May 2 - Hadden Sayers and John Egan
Hadden Sayers, a blues guitar singer-songwriter with deep Texas roots, celebrates the release of his seventh and newest CD, Rolling Soul. Hadden hit the Houston scene in the 1990s as lead guitarist for Miss Molly and the Whips, then started his solo career and toured incessantly before relocating to Ohio in 2004. After a few years off, Hadden roared back on the scene playing guitar with Ruthie Foster and releasing Hard Dollar in 2011. John Egan opens the season with gut-striking blues.

May 9 - Texas Guitar Women and Herb Remington
Carolyn Wonderland, Cindy Cashdollar, Shelley King, Sarah Brown and Lisa Pankratz bring the best of blues, western swing, rock and country to stages around the world. Their collective resume includes gigs with Bob Dylan, Levon Helm, Van Morrison, Asleep at the Wheel, Dave Alvin, Billy Bragg, Albert Collins, Buddy Guy and others. Herb Remington is a living legend in the world of music, a member of Bob Wills' Texas Playboys and composer of classic western swing tunes such as "Bootheel Drag" and "Remington Ride."

May 16 - Mingo Fishtrap with Tony Scalzo
Mingo Fishtrap's engaging, high-energy shows fuse infectiously funky grooves, a stellar horn section, and plenty more classic soul sounds to create a powerhouse of a live show. Formed in Denton in 1996, Mingo Fishtrap has released six CDs, one DVD and is currently recording a new CD. Tony Scalzo wrote and sang two Top 10 singles including the No. 1 hit "The Way with Fastball."

May 23 - La Sien and Los Guerreros de la Musica
La Sien is a Spanish pop rock band formed in 2009. They create intense yet accessible music that excites their listeners on and off the stage. This ever-evolving band mixes diverse sounds from classic Latin-American acts with jazz, blues, hard rock, and funk. Los Guerreros de la Musica (LGM) has already made a significant impact on the scene with its unique blend of Spanish rock, cumbia, reggae, mariachi, ska, jazz and funk. LGM will feature singing sensation Vanessa Alonzo as a special guest star for this show.

May 30 - Billy Joe Shaver and Brennen Leigh
The original honky tonk hero and legendary songwriter, Billy Joe Shaver is a true Texas original.  Elvis Presley, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, The Allman Brothers and Waylon Jennings are just a few of the artists who have recorded Billy Joe's songs. Austin bluegrass and honky tonk specialist Brennen Leigh kicks off the night with her soaring vocals and witty tunes.

June 6 - Chubby Carrier and the Bayou Swamp Band and Curtis Poullard
Grammy award winning Chubby Carrier, a third generation zydeco performer, is a dynamic and entertaining showman. Chubby Carrier and the Bayou Swamp Band play more than 150 shows annually, have recorded 10 CDs over the past 22 years and are a favorite at festivals including the New Orleans Jazz Fest and the Chicago Blues Fest. Houston's own Curtis Poullard and the Creole Zydeco Band kick off the night.

June 13 - Papa Grows Funk and Electric Attitude
Featuring John Gros on Hammond B3 organ and lead vocals, these New Orleans funksters spread the sounds of Mardi Gras in every jam filled performance. Local funksters Electric Attitude, kick the night off.

June 20 - The Suffers and Chase Hamblin
The Suffers are one of Houston's newest and most exciting super groups. with a unique Houston blend of reggae, ska and soul. Chase Hamblin brings his band the Roustabouts to the hill for a set of pure power pop full of ear catching melodies.

June 27 - Grady Gaines and the Texas Upsetters
Grady Gaines and the Texas Upsetters are a Houston treasure.  Former band leader for Little Richard and Sam Cooke, Grady has spent the past six decades playing his saxophone with Jackie Wilson, Diana Ross, Gladys Knight, Bo Diddley, Etta James and his own band full of Houston talented musicians.
