El Festival de la Salsa celebrates its fourth year by focusing on unifying Houstonians and people from around the world through their love of salsa, the most popular genre of Latin music and dance.

Latin artist and Grammy nominee Maelo Ruiz is the featured artist of this multicultural presentation, with performances by five local bands, professional dance groups, and an amateur competition.

There will also be a variety of regional Latin cuisine, dancing, and arts and crafts at the event.
