5k for Education is part two of a three part series known as LE.N.S (Learning Never Stops). This event is a fundraiser walk intended to raise awareness of the lack of education in the rural areas of Houston. The Troubled Movement, Inc. has identified an educational issue and wants the community to take a closer look at this issue our youth faces and the outcome they face if this problem is not addressed. The funds raised (through entry fees and donations) will go towards a scholarship for the winner of an essay contest which will take place in September 2017.
