Trio Oriens presents Bridging Horizons from Taiwan to Texas Concert

Trio Oriens will present a concert featuring works by Taiwanese composer-pianist Yi-Chih Lu, inspired by the deep cultural connections between Texas and Taiwan. The program includes two world premieres: Our Way, Our Dream, performed in collaboration with the Taiwanese Chorus of Greater Houston and reflecting the journeys of Taiwanese immigrants in America; and Texas Impressions, a piano quartet celebrating the enduring friendship between Houston and Taipei.
