Get a head start on holiday shopping and some great discounts with the American Cancer Society Holiday Shopping Card. Enjoy an 11-day shopping “spree” and save 20 percent at more than 750 shops and restaurants in Houston Oct. 28 through Nov. 7. The card costs $70, with all proceeds going to the American Cancer Society. The card is sponsored by VICTORY, an all-volunteer branch of the American Cancer Society, whose mission is to raise funds for cancer research, education, advocacy and patient services.

With each Holiday Shopping Card purchase during this event, shoppers will be given a Highland Village Treat Bag. Children (or adults) in costume will receive an additional treat. Get your face painted, learn some seasonal cooking tricks and enjoy food and drink provided by Highland Village restaurants and bakeries. The event takes place from 3-5 p.m.
