For 30 years, The Tremont House has hosted Galveston's opulent Mardi Gras Ball and Parade Viewing Party. The first of these grand events was held to celebrate the grand opening of the hotel on February 16, 1985.

This year, The Tremont House invites revelers to experience Galveston's heyday of great music, speakeasies and glamour as it celebrates "Pearls and Prohibition" with live entertainment by three bands, dinner, cocktails and a prime view of the Grand Night Parade as it passes in front of the hotel. Following the parade, the party continues in The Tremont Ballroom with more live music, cocktails and breakfast.
