Join for a reading of this hilariously filthy, irreverent new play by Christopher Buehlman, author of Those Across the River, Between Two Fires and The Necromancer's House, and renowned at Renaissance festivals as Christophe the Insultor. This play depicts the last Christmas Eve and Day that poet Christopher Marlowe spent alive.
For now, let it suffice to say that he wasn't in church. Also, leave the kids at home for this one.
The reading features Scott McWhirter as Kit Marlowe, Molly Searcy as Thomas Nashe, Bryan Maynard as Sir Walter Raleigh and the Devil, Jackie Pender-Lovell as Puritan, David Clayborn as Rent-Boy and an Angel, Ruth S McCleskey as Woman and Queen, Bob Galley as Helper and Neddy, and Megan Nix reading stage directions like a boss.
Guests will enjoy some delightful refreshments, including beer, wine, soda and maybe even a wassail bowl.
