Artist Travis Boyer leads an interactive dip dye performance at CAMH. Boyer places a vat of indigo dye in the center of a giant canvas laid on the ground. Participants are invited to bring clothing, blankets and other cloth materials to activate the performance by dipping the items in the dye.

Through the working process, an abstract artwork is generated on the canvas made from the drips, splashes and streaks of indigo. After the performance, attendees are free to take their newly dyed objects home.

Indigo is a natural dye and will stain clothing. Please dress accordingly.
