The Transitory Sound and Movement Collective is coming together in new and exciting collaboration and will be presenting a new work: "Meeting in the Middle...Or Somewhere In Between" at the Rec Room.
Lynn Lane (sound/intermedia artist/artistic director of TSMC) is bringing together an ensemble of artists to develop an evening of sound/movement/visuals on the stage and in the world of the Rec Room. Movement created by Amy Morrow, choreographer/dance artist and artistic director of The Theorists out of Austin, TX. The sonic world will be created by Lynn Lane (electric bass/effects), Ingrid Gerling (violin/effects) of the Axiom Quartet and another special guest Ben Roidl-Ward (bassoon) who is coming in from Chicago and is also a founding member of the TSMC. The TSMC creates an improvisational experiential world through the blending sound, movement and visual arts in a very dynamic way.
