This annual event is designed to share information about the nonprofit, network with community and corporate partners and raise funds for the foundation's charitable and educational services. NBA Hall of Fame inductee Julius Ervin and former Houston Rocket Vernon Maxwell are both chairmen for this year's event. Other former NBA players, current sports stars and golf lovers will come out to enjoy a good game of golf while supporting efforts to provide aftercare services to athletes and others.

The tournament will begin at 8 a.m. with a light breakfast and registration. Four person teams will play a scramble format, with team prizes awarded to the top finishers. An awards luncheon and silent auction will take place after play.
