Post-black metal hard-hitters Tombs recently released their newest album, Savage Gold, from Relapse Records. Pitchfork says, "they downshift only to accelerate only to downshift again, every blitz and lurk bound by maligned guitars that shadow the background" and that the work is "an ecstatic, compelling synthesis of elements that, before, you'd barely notice as being distinct."
