The annual "July Fourth Celebration & Street Party," presented by Emerus Community Hospital, will feature live music, a giant kids zone, food and fireworks for a quarter mile along Business Highway 249 just north of FM 2920.
Performing will be party funk band Fidelity Maxx beginning at 5 p.m. Classic rock group The Bottle Rockers return to Tomball to close out the evening's music beginning at 7 p.m.
The kids zone will be filled with games, water activities, petting zoo, pony rides and face painters. Peco's Grilling Company and the Original Rib Tickler will serve up summertime meals, alongside Kettle Korn, funnel cakes, cotton candy, Kona Ice and other festival treats.
Several thousand mini American flags and glo-sticks will be distributed to festival-goers before the fireworks spectacular that is scheduled to begin around 9:15 p.m.
