Tokyo X

Tokyo X will be an immersive weekend celebrating traditional Japanese culture, anime, gaming, food, fashion, music, automotive culture, and live entertainment. More than 600 vendors, exhibitors, artists, cultural organizations and brands from Japan and the United States will come together across more than 300,000 square feet of festival space.

This year’s festival will feature one of the largest Japanese historical exhibits ever presented at a consumer event in Texas, showcasing more than 1,000 authentic artifacts, including samurai armor, Japanese swords, artwork and cultural treasures dating back hundreds of years.

Guests can also experience an exclusive live concert from CODA, the performer behind several iconic theme songs from “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure,” along with appearances from internationally recognized actors, voice actors, musicians, animators, illustrators and creators.

Featured guests include Sean Schemmel, Masako Nozawa and Mario Castañeda, the American, Japanese and Spanish voice actors, respectively, behind Goku from the “Dragon Ball” franchise; Karen Fukuhara (“The Boys,” “Suicide Squad”); Dante Basco (“Avatar: The Last Airbender”); animation industry veterans Gen Sato and Hidetoshi Omori; Formula Drift champion Dai Yoshihara; and many more.

Additional attractions include Hot Import Nights, featuring more than 90 show cars; a Japanese food festival with more than 40 vendors; a Japanese fashion show; dance and cosplay competitions; U.S. Olympic fencing demonstrations; sumo wrestling; gaming tournaments; cultural workshops; taiko drumming; tea ceremonies; and dozens of interactive experiences throughout the weekend.
