The 2024 festival will feature a platform for Japanese Cultural education with an array of attractions, including culinary delights discovering the taste of Japan with dishes prepared by local Houston chefs, inspired by Japanese street food, popular animations, and authentic night markets; a diverse lineup showcasing cars, anime, music, and live performances, all highlighting the best Japan has to offer in Houston.
Live performances include singers Rozy and Shannon, Hip-Hop Artist Nevos Tyler, Taiko Drummer Kaminari Taiko, and more. Special guests will include Godzilla illustrator Hiroshima Kanatani, actor Matthew G. Taylor from Resident Evil, and voice actors Patrick Pedraza and Blake Shepherd.
Houston food vendors will include Dumpling Haus, Cloud 10 Creamery, Royce Chocolate, Lady M Crepe, Caobao, Blk Mkt Birria, and more. There will also be more than 12 restaurants visiting from Japan as vendors at Tokyo X. Other vendors include Bandai Gasaphon and Grand Archive.
