Some of Houston's local celebrities, athletes and competitive eaters are putting their gastrointestinal skills to the test in the third annual Zombie Sandwich Challenge. Competitors will have 30 minutes to devour a 22-inch long, 4.75-pound banh mi sandwich prepared by the chefs at Cafe TH.

The Zombie Banh Mi is filled with every ingredient Cafe TH has to offer, including spicy jalapeno peppers, cilantro, eggs, pork meatballs, pate, steamed pork, bacon, char-grilled chicken, char-grilled pork and more — all of it topped off with tongue-scorching zombie sauce. In the past three years, no contestant has finished it.
