Think you've got what it takes to be crowned Houston's Best Waiter? This event recognizes the hard working men and women of the foodservice industry who play a critical role in making a restaurant successful. Participants adorned in their official uniforms are challenged to perform waiter-related tasks at a succession of stations. Tasks generally include rolling sets of silverware, filling wine glasses and packing to-go containers. Contestants are timed and penalties assessed, with cash prizes awarded to the first-, second- and third-place waiters respectively with the lowest times.
