The Third Annual Earth Day Festival is a day-long family event with entertainment, environmental education, and a Green Expo featuring green consumer products and services. New this year is the addition of the Eco Landscape Zone, an area featuring the latest in consumer-friendly green gardening products, services and techniques. Methodist Hospital Foundation will oversee the Healthy Living Zone, promoting the benefits of healthy living through diet, exercise and more for kids and adults.

Planned activities include the Earth Zone, featuring interactive environmental awareness activities highlighting land, air, water, and renewable energy, a Farmer’s Market in support of locally grown produce and the Kids Energy Zone and stage. In addition, recycled art projects and live musical entertainment will round out the day.
