The third annual 5K Run/Walk for the Cure provides an atmosphere for participants to demonstrate their support for leiomyosarcoma and other sarcoma cancers — which according to the organizer account for 1 percent of adult cancers and 15 percent of pediatric cancers — by running and walking around the lake that's located in the middle of the park. This kid-friendly environment is suitable for all ages.
