Theatre Under The Stars’ Humphreys School of Musical Theatre (HSMT) will present this year’s highly-anticipated summer production at Miller Outdoor Theatre, James and the Giant Peach, based on the book by British author Roald Dahl (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The BFG, Matilda).
This captivating musical, based on the childhood favorite novel of the same name, is a wildly imaginative twisted tale filled with action-packed adventures, finding its own charming zigzag route to a happy ending after some often humorous struggles.
A shortened version with a slightly longer than an hour run time will be presented at 11 am on June 8, 9, and 10. The full length performance will be presented at 8:15 pm on June 10 and 11.
Covered seats for the evening performances are available on the day of the show for free between 10:30 am and 1 pm at the Miller Theatre Box Office. Free tickets are limited to four per person (over the age of 16). Any tickets remaining will be given out one hour before curtain.
