The Shepherd School of Music at Rice University presents The Music of Kevin Puts

Kevin Puts is celebrated as one of America’s leading composers. His work has been commissioned and performed by the Metropolitan Opera, Carnegie Hall, and Philadelphia Orchestra. Puts has collaborated with world-class artists, from Renée Fleming to Yo-Yo Ma.

The Shepherd School Contemporary Ensemble, conducted by Jerry Hou, will perform Puts' She may pick up her pen from The Hours (featuring Audrey Welsh, mezzo-soprano), Arcana, and Seven Seascapes (2013).
