The Rose’s annual fundraiser, Hats & Henna High Tea, returns to encourage Houstonians and The Rose’s community of supporters and survivors to take control of their breast health. Now in its seventh year, the event began as a celebration of a clean bill of health for The Rose board member Ashma Khanani-Moosa and has blossomed into an avenue to give back to women with little to no access to breast healthcare.
The event will feature an afternoon of Reviving and Thriving and The Rose's Dr. Dixie Melillo will be honored. Guests will enjoy the fashion show by Sameera Faridi and featured speaker Ammar AlShukry, Director at AlMaghrib, Imam at Clear Lake Islamic Center and the author of a poetry collection.
