A winter wonderland returns to Bayou Bend with Christmas Village at Bayou Bend. Ima Hogg’s historic mansion is transformed into an immersive holiday-themed theater experience with live actors, theatrical effects, and Christmas decorations.
Visitors can enjoy photo opportunities with Santa every night until December 23. The Christmas Village also includes carolers singing nightly, a hand-crafted model train, animated projections, and festive activities, including a cotton snowball toss, reindeer games, and sledding on a faux-snow slope.
New York-based gingerbread artist and Guinness World Record holder Jon Lovitch will be creating a 500+ gingerbread village sculpture and the Weihnachtsfilm (Christmas Film) Festival Berlin will screen family-friendly short films in the new winter theater. Landry’s will also introduce a new menu with features such as artisanal pizzas, charcuterie boards, select wines, seasonal beverages and Santa’s Sweet Shop with holiday cookies, caramel popcorn, hot chocolate, and more.
Guests can add on a tour of the historic house for $5 extra.
