The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston presents 30th Annual Festival of Films from Iran

The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston will screen six critically-acclaimed films from Iran. The 30th anniversary of the festival will feature an appearance by esteemed actress Shohreh Aghdashloo, who made her debut in 1976 in Chess of the Wind, one of the most singular works of Iran’s pre-revolution New Wave.

Additional screenings will be held at Asia Society Texas Center and Rice Cinema.

  • January 22: The Apple Day (2 pm) and Holy Spider (5 pm)
  • January 27: No Bears
  • January 28: The Runner (3 pm) and Holy Spider (7 pm)
  • January 29: Destiny
