Honorees include Marc L. Boom, MD, President and Chief Executive Officer, Houston Methodist Hospital,Peter J. Hotez, MD, and Maria Elena Bottazzi, PhD, Co-Directors of the Texas Children’s Hospital Center for Vaccine Development, and Dean and Associate Dean of National School of Tropical Medicine, Baylor College of Medicine Legacy Community Health.
The keynote speaker will be Marie Brenner, author of The Desperate Hours: One Hospital’s Fight to Save a City on the Pandemic Front Lines. She will share the challenges one of our nation’s preeminent hospitals addressed during the inception of the pandemic.
