Is there such thing as too much wine, too many grapes and way too many wine regions? Organizing a wine class on Italy is a challenge for instructors as they have to decide what to cover and what to leave out.

In this two-hour class, guests will learn the meaning of common labeling terms that indicate quality or style; understand what grape varieties are connected so that guests can pick a wine in a restaurant or retailer with confidence; and receive a geographical overview of the Italian wine zones while exploring each major region.

Attendees will taste wines that correspond to the classic examples from some of the regions — eight in total.
