The class is conducted in accordance with the Bureau Interprofessional des Vins de Bourgone's presentation of the region of Burgundy, a region that instructor James King represents in the U.S. King has conducted numerous seminars to the trade on the West Coast.

The class will look at the rich history that is at the heart of the identity of this region. Guests will look at the diversity of grapes, from Chablis to Maconnais of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, and discuss the terroir that is the essence of Burgundy. The class will delve into what makes Burgundy wines great.
