What is the real Pinot Noir in the 21st century? Pinot Noir is the most hotly debated grape on "what makes it Pinot Noir." People know that Burgundy is still the epicenter of quality, but it is no longer the standard for style. With regions like Oregon, Russian River, Italy, New Zealand, Patagonia, Australia and Germany all making their style, are we seeing regional styles being produced for different markets?
Guests will examine Pinot Noir in the 21st century and judge for themselves how far this grape has come from being Burgundian-centric to a global player.
