Texas New Music Ensemble's inaugural concert will focus on emerging and strongly established Texas-based composers, including Chad Robinson, Pierre Jalbert, Donald Grantham and Marcus Karl Maroney. An informal post-concert reception with the artists will be held directly following the evening's program.

Led by artistic director Chad Robinson, who earned his doctorate in music composition from King's College, London, the group is dedicated to the enrichment of Texas communities through the performance of contemporary art music by Texas composers. The sextet features graduates from such prestigious conservatories such as The Juilliard School, Manhattan School of Music, Rice University, New England Conservatory.
