Texas New Music Ensemble presents The 2nd Annual Summer Concert

Texas New Music Ensemble will present its second annual concert in Houston. The concert will focus solely on Texas composers, both emerging and strongly established. The program will feature works by Texas-based composers Chad Robinson, Marcus Maroney, Michael Ippolito, Joe Klein, Rob Smith and Phillip Elder.

TNME is a 501c3 not for profit organization established in Houston, led by artistic director Chad Robinson, who earned his Ph.D. in music composition from King’s College, London. The group is dedicated to the enrichment of Texas communities through the performance of contemporary art music by Texas composers and intends to instill a sense of pride in Texan art and heritage as well as spark interest in the current trends of classical music.
