More than 100 gifted musicians, in conjunction with the Immanuel and Helen Olshan Texas Music Festival, return to The Pavilion for a summer concert.
The festival is an intensive four-week study program at the University of Houston’s Moores School of Music. Repertoire includes Jennifer Higdon’s Blue Cathedral and Aaron Copland’s Symphony No. 3. The finalists and winner of the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Young Artist Competition will be announced.
Pre-concert activities begin in the North Plaza begin at 7 p.m
