The Texas Monthly Whiskey Affair is a premium whiskey tasting event that will highlight up to 50 brown spirits and celebrate the whiskey lifestyle with delicious chef pairings, couture cocktails, and live music.
Texas and international brown spirits makers will serve straight pours and cocktails from their portfolios with spirit seminars led by Texas Monthly Editor in Chief Tim Taliaferro and Wine & Spirits contributor Jessica Dupuy. The event will also feature up to 10 award-winning chefs and mixologists serving dishes to compliment a wide array of whiskies, including Chef Peter Petro and Mixologist Matt Sharp of Bosscat Kitchen & Libations; Mike Raymond, owner of Reserve 101; and Michael Majkszak, owner of Majkszak’s Meat Market and winner of the Beef Loving Texans’ 2017 Best Butcher in Texas competition by the Texas Beef Council.
All spirits and cuisine will be enjoyed with live music by artist Doc Watkins, owner of Jazz, TX. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Feeding Texas.
