Texas Medical Center Orchestra: Dvorak's "New World" Symphony

The Texas Medical Center Orchestra, composed of health professionals and medical students, is giving a free performance of Dvorak's "New World" Symphony on Tuesday, November 3, in the lobby of the Methodist Hospital.

Attendees are also invited to stay for an open rehearsal with pianist James Dick, who will rehearse Beethoven's "Emperor" Concerto at 6:45 p.m.

The performance is being hosted by the Methodist Center for Performing Arts Medicine, a collective of medical experts dedicated to addressing the particular health concerns of performing artists.
